Tim Reiber, Chief Operating Officer of Legacy Utility Group

Tim Reiber is the Chief Operating Officer of Legacy Utility Group, where he works with the leaders of each operating company to keep the work safe, profitable, and running well. He brings nearly 30 years of operations and sales experience across waste services, parts distribution, and underground utility services.

Tim began his career in 1996 at Waste Management, where he worked his way from marketing specialist through dispatcher, account executive, and roll off manager. He later ran an Allied Waste operation with more than 110 routes and 150 employees, then led sales and operations across Colorado, Utah, and Idaho for Factory Motor Parts, a wholesale auto parts distributor.

In 2012 he joined Badger Daylighting, where he spent 11 years as a regional manager, director of operations, and vice president, leading sales and marketing and then operations for the West and Central regions. His responsibilities included safety, business development, and operations across the U.S. and Canada. He also holds contractor licenses in 13 states.

Tim believes good operations start with the people closest to the work and proven processes that focus on three key components: Safety, People, and Customers. He spends time in the field, listening to the crews and managers who see problems first, and puts a priority on clear expectations, safe work, and following through on what he says he will do.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys traveling to see family and new places, training dogs in dog sports, and woodworking.

Tim grew up in Cincinnati and then spent over 10 years in Chicago after graduation. Tim earned a degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of Florida. He is based in the Denver, CO area.

Brenda Campbell, Chief People Officer

Brenda Campbell brings more than 20 years of experience in People and Talent leadership, having spent much of her career helping growing companies navigate change, build strong teams, and develop great leaders. Before joining Legacy Utility Group, she worked primarily in the technology industry, leading People and Talent teams across the U.S. and internationally.

While her career has taken her around the world and across industries, Brenda has always believed that people are at the heart of every successful business. She is passionate about bringing people together, helping others grow, and creating workplaces where people feel connected, supported, and proud of what they do. She believes leadership isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about listening, being willing to learn, doing the right thing, and helping others succeed.

Originally from Oklahoma, Brenda grew up on a ranch surrounded by family, animals, and a strong sense of community. It was there that she learned the value of hard work, looking out for one another, and showing up when someone needs a hand. Those values have stayed with her throughout her life and continue to influence how she approaches both work and relationships.

Moving from the technology world into the construction and utility industries has been an exciting new chapter for Brenda. She enjoys learning the business, spending time with the people who do the work every day, and finding ways to bring teams together across Legacy’s operating companies.

Outside of work, Brenda is a huge animal lover and enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. She loves cooking, getting lost in a good book, gardening, exploring farmers markets, and being outdoors. Whether she’s growing something in her garden, trying a new recipe, or connecting with people, she appreciates the simple things that bring people together and make life meaningful.
